I wish I could give birth to cat, 2025

I wish I could give birth to cat. When people ask me what my dream is I think about this and nothing else. Sometimes I cry about it. And I'm not just want to give birth to cat but I want to give birth to cat I already have and I want her to be a part of my body. I can't explain. But it's impossible because she already exists. And I am human. I extremely love her.

Bio

Marie Viktoriia is a performance artist and visual creator working across live performance, video, and conceptual image-making. She works internationally across independent art projects and visual collaborations.

Her practice explores the body as both medium and interface — a site where intimacy, surveillance, technology, and vulnerability intersect. Through minimal gestures, durational actions, and carefully constructed visual situations, Viktoriia creates performances that move between tension and stillness, control and exposure.

Defined by stark compositions and a psychologically charged visual language, her projects examine how identity is performed under constant observation and how private experience shifts when staged or mediated through screens.

Alongside her artistic practice, she collaborates on visual and commercial projects, bringing a performance-based approach to fashion, music, and editorial imagery. She works across Asia and worldwide.
